Roberto Rodriguez was born in Santo Domingo Dominican Republic and currently lives in Blue Bell Pennsylvania. He studied civil engineering in his beloved home country and completed his graduate studies in his adopted country the United States of America. He came to the United States in 1991 and since this time transitioned from a foreign student in search for knowledge to a productive Latino member of his community and this country. He currently works as a senior project engineer at David Chou and Associates, a structural engineer office in Blue Bell. He is married to his wife Karen of 19 years with whom he has three children.

Roberto attended the formal inauguration of CCATE’s computer room in 2011 and immediately was captivated by this nonprofit organization’s mission and potential. He got directly involved with the weekend adult classes where he has taught introductory courses to computers. In 2012 he humbly accepted the opportunity to become member of CCATE’s board and continues his involvement in the development of this organization.
