REVARTEBilingual magazine of art, literature and community expression
Born in CCATE’s adult writing circle in 2022, REVARTE publishes essays, poetry, fiction, photography and visual art by community members, students and invited writers — in Spanish, in English, and often in both at once.

REVARTE MediaTwo programs recorded in CCATE’s studio
- Diálogos de la Villa Inmigrante — the community podcast: 61 episodes on immigration, health, culture and daily life, reaching 2,000–4,000 listeners a week. Guests have included immigration attorneys, legislators and the Norristown police chief. Many episodes are produced by high school students trained in podcast production.
- Organízate, Movilízate — REVARTE’s live program on YouTube about organizing and mobilizing the community.
FilmsDocumentaries, animation and narrative, made by students
Students learn cinematographic language, editing, camera, sound and scriptwriting in the school year and at summer camp. Close to 200 students have taken part, and six CCATE productions have been awarded at the Bucks Fever FilmFest.
CCATE GalleryNorristown’s first dedicated art gallery, opened 2023
Paintings, photography, ceramics, murals and installations made by CCATE children, youth and adults — plus visiting exhibitions. The space is being renovated with support from the Connelly Foundation and reopens in October 2026.
Community work has travelled from this room to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Annenberg Center, the Organization of American States and the Barnes Foundation.
Radio REVARTEIn progress
In February 2024 the FCC granted CCATE a low-power FM permit for Radio REVARTE — what will be the first community and educational radio station for Montgomery County’s Latino and immigrant communities, supported by the Independence Public Media Foundation. We are working through the engineering and tower arrangements now. Until it goes on air, you can hear our programs on the podcast and on YouTube.
