Campamento de veranoSummer Camp · grades 2–12 · three weeks every July, since 2013
Cooking, gardening, art, film, science, sports and field trips across the region — a summer day camp designed each year with volunteers, interns and families, and run with the whole community caring for its children.
Un día de campamentoWhat a camp day looks like
- Círculo familiar de la mañanaEveryone together: breathing, the question of the day and the plan for the morning.
- TracksCampers move between the kitchen, the art room, the media room, the garden, the youth library and the lawn.
- Almuerzo y lecturaLunch together, then twenty minutes of Drop Everything and Read.
- More tracksA second round of workshops — or a weekly field trip.
- Círculo de la tarde y limpiezaA closing circle, then every camper helps clean up. Every day.

Hecho en el campamentoSome of what campers have made over the years
Lo hacemos entre todosDesigned together every June — and carried by our partners
Each June more than 30 volunteers, interns and community members of all ages meet to plan the summer. Based on everyone’s talents and interests, they choose the theme and co-design the tracks for camp and for the High School Leadership Institute.
Each camp is evaluated with families, staff and volunteers through appreciative inquiry, and what we learn shapes the next summer.
Verano 2027Camp runs again in July 2027
