MIGRACIONES
John James Audubon Center at Mill GroveFifteen paintings, three collective textile pieces and two installations inspired by migratory birds — the cerulean warbler, the scarlet tanager and the wood thrush. Featured at Audubon Community Day in September 2025, with about 500 visitors.

Two chairs covered in crochet by the women of the collective. On their seats, two sentences:
No human being is illegal.
The title is an invitation: sit down, and imagine for a moment the life of someone else. The installation was first shown at the New Hope Arts Center in 2022.

Every other Thursday
The group meets twice a month at CCATE and decides together what to make next.
Collective work
Most pieces are made together: murals, textiles, installations, piñatas and whole exhibitions planned as a group.
Space to heal
The collective is also a support circle. Therapists and invited guests join some sessions on emotional health.
Teaching and learning
Guest artists are invited to share techniques, and the women lead public workshops of their own — like hojalata at Audubon Community Day.
