Community Participation

All of CCATE’s programs and services are designed around our community’s dreams, talents, and feedback. All of CCATE’s classes are taught by members of our community

STEAM

CCATE fully embraces the benefit of incorporating art into our STEM curricula. Numerous studies suggest that Incorporating art programs into traditional STEM curricula improves the happiness and well-being of students. In addition, it is linked to positive cognitive development and an increase in literacy and math skills. Through these positive impacts, CCATE students will become more rounded individuals equipped with creativity and problem-solving skills

Arts

Art is a powerful tool for self expression, representation, reclaiming of stories, and elevation of our community’s voice and experience. Through weekly classes, students will explore and express their cultural heritage and individual identities through painting, muralism, photography, and variety of other artistic means

Civic Engagement

Immigrants exist in a societal space where they are both seen and unseen. By educating our community and encouraging them to participate in civic actions, we affirm our and the immigrant community’s place in the US
