Noche de Arte 2026 · our 15th anniversary · Saturday, October 10

Quince años, de vuelta en casa.

Fifteen years, back home on Main Street. Thank you to every family, artist, cook, musician, neighbor and partner who filled CCATE to celebrate our quinceañera — and to open the doors of our renovated gallery.

Collective murals in the renovated CCATE Gallery

In 2011, Latinx families opened the doors of CCATE. On October 10, 2026, they opened them again — to a renovated building, a new gallery and a whole community coming home to celebrate.

Last year Noche de Arte was held at the Berman Museum of Art in Collegeville. This year our quinceañera came back to 1246 W. Main Street, and every corner of the property was open: the gallery, the porch, the garden and the dinner tents.

Like everything at CCATE, the night was made by the community. Families formed committees months ahead — for the food, the space, the program and the raffles — and stayed after the last song to clean up.

Fifteen years of community art finally has a room big enough for it: gallery lighting, hanging rails, a gathering space with a bar, and walls wide enough for the collective murals our families have painted together.

Hecho por la comunidadDinner cooked, served and shared by our families

The food committee and CCATE families cooked for the whole night — tortillas, salsas, aguas frescas and desserts — and served it under the tents in the garden, at tables dressed in green and gold.

Christina Miller, Administrator and Director of the Office of Public Health at Montgomery County, took home Dulce González’s photograph “Educación para todos” — a powerful message that reflects the spirit of CCATE.

The art is still on the walls

Paintings, drawings and photographs from Noche de Arte remain on view in the CCATE Gallery, and many are still for sale. Every piece was made by our students, families and Las Artivistas, and every sale supports CCATE’s programs.
